Where: Stillwater Public Library at Storytime Room

Join us on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. for Preschool Storytime for children ages 3-6 & their caregivers. Stories, songs, finger-plays and movement to encourage the development of emergent literacy skills and motor development.

Where: Stillwater Public Library at Storytime Room

Wednesdays 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. In addition to being fun, coloring has many benefits to child development. Coloring tools and coloring pages appropriate for children and their parents/caregivers provided. This self paced activity will be set up in the storytime room with materials available from 3-6 p.m. each Wednesday.

Each week, a short STEM activity will be led by trained teen volunteers that will be repeated at 11:00. Activities are best for ages 6-10. No late starts. Registration is not required but space is limited.
These programs are in partnership with Bayport Library where similar activities will be offered weekly on Wednesdays.

Join us for an exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math for the preschool set. Children ages 3-5 are invited to participate in a variety of activities at their own pace. Each is meant to encourage curiosity. Each week in June will focus on a different theme. We hope you'll join us for this FREE, fun, family activity!

You read that correctly! Your budding reader can practice with a registered miniature horse this summer. Young readers ages 7-12 build confidence in their reading by sharing stories with a non-judgmental listener. Pre-registration encouraged as space is limited. Stop by the desk or call  651-275-4338, ext. 111 to arrange a 15 minute time slot. Due to the popularity of this program, time slots are limited to one per family.

Based on the book Nugget & Fang about the friendship between a shark and a minnow, we will make a multi-media artwork.  Students will combine drawing, painting, and collage to make a colorful seascape scene inspired by the book. Registration is required.
Program is funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Fund.

Do you like horses?  How about mini horses?

Come and learn about taking care of horses with visiting certified therapy miniature horses. We'll pass around samples of the different things horses eat. Then we'll share a story. After that we'll horse around with some fun activities.

Get kids excited about reading. Abradadrabra! The Magic of Reading Magic Show is an interactive and engaging show featuring comedy and audience participation. Hear about the benefits of reading and using the library while being thoroughly amazed. This is one show that audiences of all ages will enjoy. Check out maddenmagic.com for more information.

Ralph’s World is the mega-fun musical planet where kids rock rock rock and dance dance dance to songs like "Drivin' In My Car".  Young fans will enjoy activity and dancing songs, along with pure silliness.
